Detached folio from a dispersed copy of the Qur'an; right-hand half recto: Sura al-Shu'ara (the Poets) 26:81-98, recto begins with "wa alladhi"; verso: sura 26: part of 98, 99-114, verso begins with "al-'alamayn"; left-hand half recto: Sura al-Furqan (the Criterion) 25: part of verse 14, recto begins with "wa[a]hidan" and verses 15-20; verso: sura 25:20-28 and part of 29, verso begins with "'atasbiruna"; Arabic in black "eastern kufic (New Style)" script with round gilded verse markers and inscribed illuminated marginal roundels; vocalized in red, tashdid, sukun and hamza in blue; one column; 16 lines of text.
