Small dish with pleated rim.
Clay: buff pottery.
Glaze: transparent glaze with olive greenish tone (Ofuke glaze), large irregular cracks stained brown; glaze deeper green in tone where thick. Interior of footrim glazed; glazed wiped off outside of footrim and surrounding base.
Decoration: pleating on narrow everted rim.

The form of this dish with fluted rim distantly echoes the shape of Chinese Longquan-ware celadon dishes. (see also F1988.14)
