I am a junior at George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia. I’ve painted for the last six years, including one year of working in oils. (One of my paintings was featured in the New York Times.) I am an officer of my school’s National Art Honor Society chapter, and I am currently working on a project to paint a mural with ESOL kids at my local elementary school. Asian art has been an important influence on my own art, and the Freer|Sackler helped me discover it. I hope to help others discover it, too.
