 Object file. Acquired while Mr. and Mrs. Osborne and Gratia Hauge were living in Saigon (1972 or 1973-1975). Curatorial remarks indicate that some of the Northern Vietnamese pieces were acquired from Mr. Goh in Singapore or from Christie's New York.

Bowl with flared rim, round wall, splayed foot and recessed base.
Clay: light buff-grey stoneware.
Glaze: clear, transparent, glossy. Five triangular spur marks on interior bottom.
Decoration: painted in low-grade cobalt that contained a high amount of iron, with a chrysanthemum spray encircled by a ring on central medallion; a band of scrolls inside the rim; cloud band on exterior. Brown iron slip brushed on base inside footrim.
