Jar of cylindrical form with broad, rounded shoulder tapering towards foot, tapered tall neck, rounded rim and flat base. Four grooved lugs with thumb-pressed ends on shoulder.
Clay: brown stoneware.
Glaze: iron, blackish-brown with iridescent silvery streaks, glossy, opaque; band of iron pigment (fired red) on shoulder.
