Album of woodblock prints, Volume 7 of 17 of “Panels.”

From a set of print sample albums issued Daikokuya, Tokyo publisher. Volumes 1-17 of “Panels”, each volume with (originally) 12 prints by various artists (some prints now removed or missing). Paper label attached to the cover of each volumes, inscribed in ink: “Panels.”

The volumes are each numbered on the cover label with a rubberstamped number identifying the volume number. However, the prints are numbered consectutively through the whole set of volumes: 1 through 204. Again, this number is rubberstamped on the volume page above the print.

In this volume, the print on the page rubberstamped “80” has been removed or is missing.
