- Description
-
From a set of print sample albums issued Daikokuya, Tokyo publisher. Volumes 1-17 of "Panels", each volume with (originally) 12 prints by various artists (some prints now removed or missing). Paper label attached to the cover of each volumes, inscribed in ink: "Panels."
The volumes are each numbered on the cover label with a rubber-stamped number identifying the volume number. However, the prints are numbered consectutively through the whole set of volumes: 1 through 204. Again, this number is rubber-stamped on the volume page above the print.
In this volume, the prints on the page rubber-stamped "183" and "189" have been removed and was added by Muller to his collection. See records S2003.8.1926 and S2003.8.1824 respectively.
