Album of woodblock prints, Volume 15 from a set of 17 volumes labeled as “Panels.”

From a set of print sample albums issued Daikokuya, Tokyo publisher. Volumes 1-17 of “Panels”, each volume with (originally) 12 prints by various artists (some prints now removed or missing). Paper label attached to the cover of each volumes, inscribed in ink: “Panels.”

The volumes are each numbered on the cover label with a rubberstamped number identifying the volume number. However, the prints are numbered consectutively through the whole set of volumes: 1 through 204. Again, this number is rubberstamped on the volume page above the print.

In this volume, the print on the page rubberstamped “174” has been removed and was added by Muller to his collection. See record S2003.8.1863.
