Label

This print celebrates the Japanese victory at Jinzhou fortress as the Japanese flag is raised and buglers sound a call. Fires continue to burn out in the battlefield. The extraordinary beauty of the sky at dawn momentarily overshadows the tragedy of the recent battle, which has left many slain soldiers on the ground in the fortress and in the battlefield, areas that remain in darkness.
