Detached album folio; recto: calligraphy panel with eight hemistichs in Persian black nasta'liq script, corners embellished with triangular illumination; verso: Seated Indian youth.
Border: Recto is set in a blue inner frame and a gold outer frame with two verses of a poem each on the upper and lower borders. The painting is set in red and black rulings followed by a gold inner frame with two verses each on the upper and lower borders and a red, black and green outer frame.
