Detached folio from a dispersed copy of the Qur'an; right-hand half recto: Sura al-Furqan ( the Criterion) 25: part of verse 59 and verses 60-70; right-hand half verso: sura 25:71-77, illuminated heading of Sura al-Shu'ara (the Poets) 26:1-7; left-hand half recto: sura 26: 7-27; left-hand half verso: sura 26:27-48; Arabic in black naskh script with an illuminated heading in thuluth script, gold verse markers and marginal roundels containing the word "ashr" (ten) indicating the end of a tenth verse and the word "khams" (five) indicating the end of the fifth verse; vocalized in black with red letters for recitation; one column; 14 lines of text.
