- Description
-
The object consists of two figures sitting under an umbrella, atop a circular base. The right figure is a male playing a string instrument; the left figure is a female nursing two babies sitting on her lap. A small bird is perched on the edge of the base in front of the male. The base is circular, and narrows abruptly under the figures, then flares back to a wide, hollow base. It is decorated with a geometric, cross-hatched pattern. The object is dark brown or black in color, and yellow metal shows through in some raised areas. Beige soil is present in crevices and recesses.
