Detached folio from a dispersed copy of a Garshaspnama (Book of Garshasp) by Ali Asadi Tusi (known as Asadi the younger); text: Persian in black nasta'liq script; recto: text, four columns, thirteen lines; verso: illustration and text, Battle between a Demon and two men; one of a group of two folios.
Border: The painting is set in red, blue and gold rulings on cream-colored paper.
