Large tea bowl with everted rim

Glazed pottery conical bowl. Standing on a low foot ring, having curved sloping sides and wide everted lip rim. Coated inside and out with a thick glossy black with “hare’s fur” outside of bowl ground down to body and an inscription applied in lacquer (one section of one character missing). The character cheng “regular” was incised into the clay underfoot before the bowl was fired.
