The earthenware tile is square in shape, with a symmetrical floral design on a white background. The clay body is beige. Tile is decorated with an abstracted floral design, clearly intended as part of a larger repeat design. It is painted in vibrant greens, blues, black, and the characteristic “Turkish red” on a pure, white background. The central floral motif composed of lotus flowers, each enclosing a pomegranate and five floral stems. This is flanked by half sections of the same motif and linked by two pairs of saz leaves incorporating further floral design
