One of a pair of blue and white glazed porcelain plates. Very thin, shallow ring foot. Central rondo decorated with motifs of flower and fruit vases, surrounded by shoulder/flange with peacocks. From Receiving Report: The rim decorated with a diaper of scrolling vines and peacocks interrupted with four reserves containing pomegranates. In the center, two tripods with fruit, flowers, and a Ku. On the reverse, four auspicious symbols (palm leaves/lozenges]) decorate the rim. In the center within double blue rings, a prunus blossom. The surface decoration extends just shy of the rim edge, giving the impression of a white band around the outer edge.
