Pear-shaped bottle with faceted sides, Kraakporselein.
Clay: porcelain, light gray. Mold-formed in three pieces, joined at the neck and widest parts of the body.

Glaze: translucent, somewhat milky. Interior glazed; base inside of foot glazed with an irregular unglazed patch. Firing grit and some glaze adhering to edge of footrim, scars where some grit cut away.
Decoration: in underglaze cobalt, deep blue-gray wash and blackish-blue line; body divided into six vertical panels, following molded faceting, filled with motifs of plummeting horse and waves and peony plant and rock, in alternation, separated by narrow panels of “dot and dash” motif; shoulder decorated with lappets filled with “tassels” below link collar, dots above; overlapping semicircles below plain rim edged with line.
