Dish with flattened foliate rim: cavetto fluted to match inside and out; deep chocolate brown lacquer with some lighter areas and some crackle.
Dish with seven bracket lobes on the cavetto, the everted rim with a slightly raised edge and the recessed central well, or medalllion, also of foliate shape corresponding to the bracket lobing.
