This painting depicts the Islamic conception of the Garden of Paradise and the Garden of Eden. Flanking the Garden of Paradise is the throne of God in the painting's upper half and  Abraham, Moses, and Aaron in the three lowest registers. The Persian inscriptions are written in nasta'liq script. For its pair, see F1968.2
