Tea-bowl, inverted bell shape; low foot. Gold lacquer repairs.
Clay: dense, light, gray. Some pink spotting around rim.
Glaze: brilliant; buff with minute fish-roe crackle; band of red-brown tea stain on inside.
Decoration: inlaid in white and black under glaze; cranes, scattered floral and cloud motifs; band of foliate hexagons around rim.
