Plaque-shaped serving dish (gaku-zara 額皿), quadrilateral with foliated corners; four low loop feet.
Clay: hard, grayish.
Glaze: brilliant clear glaze, translucent where thick, over dark, red-brown wash.
Decoration: painted in reserve with thin iron wash.
