Grammy Award-winning violist Kim Kashkashian is joined by other veterans of the prestigious Marlboro Music Festival to perform Boccherini’s only string quintet, Bartók’s String Quartet no. 2, and Ravel’s Trio for Piano and Strings. Joining her are violinists Alexi Kenney and Tessa Lark, cellists Isang Enders and Christoph Richter, and pianist Zoltán Fejérvári. Kashkashian won the 2012 Grammy for best classical instrumental solo on her album Kurtág / Ligeti: Music for Viola. This concert is part of the twenty-fifth season of the Bill and Mary Meyer Concert Series.
