What can we learn about social, political, and religious structures of ancient cultures by studying artworks? Explore animal symbolism through tours of Divine Felines: Cats of Ancient Egypt and Freer|Sackler permanent collections. Discuss with content specialists how the people of ancient Egypt used animals and animal imagery for political power and religious and secular rituals.
